What is ONK?
ONK stands for Oranda Nihongo Kyoshikai, which is the Dutch Association of Japanese Language Teachers. Our mission is to support Japanese language teachers in the Netherlands and ensure high-quality education. We organize, among others, various training sessions for teachers, share information about Japanese language education, collaborate to create awesome learning materials and carry out events for the learners.
What is the Japanese Language Festival （日本語まつり)？
The Japanese Language Festival is a fun and vibrant event we've hosted three times since September 2023. It's all about giving Japanese language learners a chance to practice outside the classroom. We offer a range of activities like games, role-plays, and conversations tailored to different skill levels. These activities are led by our fantastic teachers and native Japanese-speaking volunteers.
